She seems to hate all females because she thinks they all want her man, David. However, David is the main problem in those situations. Her best friend Jerry always comes to the rescue whenever Eve gets herself into trouble, which is basically every day. Claudia , her mother and Yu, her step-father try to break through to Eve, yet with no luck at all. But for some reason, she has an amazing relationship with her step-grandmother, Popo, who doesn't even speak any English.
